Every month of October the world commemorates Breast Cancer Awareness month. On 14th October 2023, Kwale Women Of Goodwill Foundation-KWOGF in partnership with Mombasa Cancer Centre were able to conduct free cancer and medical screening services of various kind of cancer including breasts, prostrate , cervical cancer among others at Kinondo Kwetu Health Services Centre in Msambweni Subcounty, Kwale County
As October is Breast Cancer awareness month, it is an opportunity to raise awareness about breast cancer, educate people about the importance of early detection, screening, and support those affected by the disease. Cancer continues to be the leading cause of death globally and we need to have more conversation around this subject and create emphasis on the importance of annual screening and testing.
To everyone going through ups and down of a cancer journey, you’re not alone! You’re a fighter. You’re supported! And the the best defense is early detection!
